Privacy Policy

Your prayer life is not a data source.

Ambo is built to keep daily readings, prayers, calendar settings, reminders, and widgets close to your device.

No accounts

You do not need to sign up, log in, or create a profile to use Ambo.

No personal usage profiles

Ambo may collect anonymous usage events to understand which features need work. Those events are not linked to your name, email, prayer content, custom prayers, or a personal account.

No ads

Ambo does not show third-party advertising and does not embed ad SDKs.

Local settings and prayers

App preferences, reader settings, reminder choices, widget settings, favorites, and custom prayers are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard frameworks.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Ambo schedules them through Apple's local notification system on your device. You can change notification permission in the app or in iOS Settings.

Content and audio requests

Ambo may request app content, podcast metadata, or audio from the relevant servers when you use those features. These requests deliver the content itself; they are not used by Ambo to build a user profile.

Support purchases

Optional subscriptions and gifts are processed by Apple and RevenueCat so Ambo can recognize active support and restore purchases. Payment details are handled by Apple's App Store systems.
